It's been a few years and no one seems to really know much about this debate, which is funny since it'll completely affect the way we use the internet. The net should not be controlled by companies.

I'd say it's way too late. I'm convinced Rogers is doing it services such as FTP. I've not seen a degradation in my VOIP, yet.

Its too late. A techie at rogers confirmed to me that they are controlling traffic with regard to file sharing programs . Its to "ensure everyone has bandwidth to enjoy" or some nonsense.

Thank you for bringing this story to our attention. It should be clear now that we need laws to mandate net neutrality.
