Sharks in Starbucks, Volusia, and Theatres
I've been swimming in Volusia County this week, the shark bite capital of the world.
I also popped in to the Sheraton in Cocoa Beach Friday aft, where I snapped this Starbucks sign on my BB (just a few feet away from a giant indoor shark tank).
And speaking of sharks, am hearing lots of buzz about the doc Sharkwater. I definitely plan to see it, but I think I'll wait 'til I get back up North ;).
On a side note, I took my mom jet skiing today. No shark sightings, but definitely an enormous amount of fun!

Amber, Are you and your mum in training to be the next Bond girls? Sorry you didn't get to see any shark when out jet skiing, but then again maybe thats a good thing. That Starbucks sign is very cool though, if a little worrying. Glad your having a great time.

Isn't Florida beautiful? I love that place... and the ocean background on the last CommandN show was phenom. PS - Will you and Will consider doing a DAILY show?! :)

It's great to hear that you are so close to your mother. By the way, I don't know if you have done this, but I would be very interested in a "behind the scenes" look at CommandN where you go over the camera, microphones, video editing software, etc. you use for the show.

ha i find it funny your parents live less than 10 minutes away from me. i'm right over the bridge in Port Orange. don't pay any mind to those people that say the sharks will get ya. new smyrna is where all the biting occurs. maybe next time you come down and shoot a CommandN ep. you could have a CommandN picnic! =D

Amber, let us know in advance next time you are down in Volusia County Florida and we will give you some good dining recommendations. We own a vacation home there and have been hanging out in New Smyrna Beach for many years.

Oh, wait, your mom lives down in Volusia County? Well disregard my last comment. You already know the local places to go. But in case you havent tried it, drive to Dixie Crossroads in Titusville and eat their rock shrimp - its better than lobster!

I hope that you might have had the chance to see the space shuttle land this week and/or to see the Delta rocket launch tonight! You're close enough for both.
