A spring makeover for ambermac.com

After a few weeks of hard work from my good pals at Arktyp and GiraffeSoft, my new site is up 'n running.  The plan is to blog more, post more videos, and basically take over the online world (OK, maybe I am too ambitious for a Monday morning).  Also, I have a few links to add to the sidebar (but I'm impatient, so wanted to go live asap).

I am writing this post from our new studio in Liberty Village.  It feels great to be independent.  Am planning to shoot a video in the next few hours about some of the projects I'm working on, maybe even include a little tech news.

Hot redesign Amber. One little thing - although it might be my work monitor, the blue of the links is a bit too blue, difficult to pick out against the grey, or rather difficult to focus on!

Wow! I just checked earlier this morning, and it was still under construction! Looking great. Not sure if I like the tiling background, but if you do, that's all that matters. =)

Well done it looks really good. Nice colour choices. Only thing I don't like is the background when you scroll. :) But pretty pretty pretty pretty good!

Wow! Congrats on the new design - they did an amazing job. One edit would make it perfect: make the background image fixed in place instead of tiling since the edges don't match. Rock on

Great design. For the record, the text/link/background colouring is fine and perfectly readable for me. But I'm also not a fan of the repeating background - that's probably my only criticism.

Amber, Great site design, Have seem that you have now added links to Mike Laz, and Natali Del Conte to your friends list, but why no links to Will Pate or your brother? Just wondering, also, as someone else pointed out, where's the link to your Flickr account? Amber: I like the site but I would change the pic you are using. Use the one with the pink jacket on the chair. This one looks to Hanna Montanaie.

Typo CMS?! Tried it once but really didn't like it....would put Joomla (that I use), Drupal or Wordpress before it.

WOW, just worked out why your image, top left, looked a little odd to me, in the image on this site you are looking up to the right, but in the original image your looking up to the left, guess you had it flipped in PS, I just can't believe it took me a couple of days to work that out. It's a great photo of you. L&L

Great new design! Excellent work by your friends. The website lacks a favicon, though. :-( I reduce my tabs and bookmarks to favicons, so ambermac.com gets reduced to the default icon.
