My Sat Night Playlist & cN 146 w/JoCo

Am making a playlist to blast while making (heating) dinner, so thought I'd share 'er here.  I must thank my big bro Jeff for hooking me up with a lot of these tunes; he started influencing my musical tastes when I was only 13 (by throwing Violent Femmes, Skinny Puppy, etc. in my Walkman, yes, Walkman!).  Happy (Long) Weekend!

Paper Planes - M.I.A

California Stars - Billy Bragg & Wilco

Expectations - Belle & Sebastian

Where Is My Mind? - Pixies

Your Party - Ween

Flight Test - The Flaming Lips

Smiley Faces - Gnarls Barkley

Doin' Time - Sublime

No More Trouble (featuring Erykah Badu) - Bob Marley

Love Song - The Cure

Concerning The UFO Sighting - Sufjan Stevens

Ocean Man - Ween

Smile - Lily Allen

Hey - Pixies

FlyPaper - K-Os

For the latest tech news, check out this week's ep of commandN with musical superstar Jonathan Coulton (and the usual suspects).

I know and like most of these. We seem to have pretty similar musical tastes so I always check out the songs you mention that I'm not familiar with - and a lot of them have become big hits with me! Haha. So thanks for sharing. Cheers.

See this is why we would totally be friends if we ever met in person, Ambermac. Just a perfect list of songs. Love the Billy Bragg & Wilco stuff.

Nice Amber! I'm stuck in the 90's, mostly, myself when it comes to music. If you were here in the states, or had access to a VPN in the states, I'd share my Pandora station... It's very similar to this! -Adam
